The SALT is a peer run group made up of consumers, DMH administration representatives, mental health providers and community members from all walks of life.
Come and meet with other Department of Mental Health providers, consumers and members of the community who want to make a difference. Each Month we review services offered in the Antelope Valley, share resources, and discuss options to improve overall Mental Health Care in the Antelope Valley.
We also have a Public Forum where members of the community can share their experiences utilizing the Mental Health System in the AV. Comments, suggestions, and feedback are provided to the LA County DMH Administration as part of an overall quality improvement and assurance process designed to capture the voice, experience, and suggestions of everyday consumers in each service area.
Providers are also encouraged to actively participate to continue to advocate for funding and additional service options in our community.
